“The path to enlightenment today is cluttered with concepts: Adyashanti cuts through them with a sword so merciless and tender that only space remains.”
— Meg Lundstrom
In Purpose & Soul, Adyashanti introduces a fresh path to discovering and embodying your life purpose. In Adyashanti’s view, purpose inquiry is the portal into the deeper layer of your soul, “The way I look at this, the deeper question is to ask what’s worthy of orienting your entire life around. I’d also add to that, what is worth suffering for?”
An excerpt from Purpose & Soul
The timeless dimension of being and the human dimension of form are what I refer to as the two worlds of spiritual instinct. Soul is what connects and interfaces between these complimentary realities. These two worlds (or poles) are quite different in their orientations. The timeless dimension is completely transcendent. This pole wants to wake up from its identification with time, space, and form and transcend its compulsion toward accomplishment and success.
The human dimension of the spiritual instinct involves soul’s orientation toward embodying and expressing the infinite in a unique and purposeful way. This aspect of the spiritual impulse is primarily oriented toward feeling authentically connected to an inspiring purpose and the feeling of aliveness at a human level.
Join us for this LIVE and intimate opportunity to dialogue with Adyashanti in person through an interactive video conference. Adyashanti will introduce us to some of the core teachings from his new essay: Purpose & Soul.
“It’s interesting to recognize that there is a meaningful orientation to purpose in the domain of spirit. With a lack of purpose we just don’t tend to do well individually or culturally, which has a lot to do with where we are right now as a society.”
— Adyashanti
In this special 60-minute event you’ll:

Praise for Adyashanti
“One of the premier spiritual teachers of our time.”
— Reginald A. Ray, author of Touching Enlightenment
“Central to his (Adyashanti’s) journey and ours is the question he offers as our constant guide: ‘How can I be a living expression of what I love?’”
— Mark Nepo, author of The Book of Awakening
“Adyashanti offers the blessing of pointing us toward the reality awakening through us right in this moment.”
— Tara Brach, PhD, author of Radical Acceptance and True Refuge
“It’s crucial to recognize that, even in the domain of spirit, our orientation to purpose is indispensable.”
— Adyashanti
I believe that turning towards the soul’s calling is what focuses our lives in a meaningful direction and brings out the best in a human being.
In our search for authentic meaning and purpose, two of the most important questions we can ask ourselves are:
— What is worthy of orienting my entire life around?
— What is worth suffering for?
