Thomas Moore

Thomas Moore is the renowned author of Care of the Soul, the classic #1 New York Times bestseller. In his new book Ageless Soul, Moore reveals a fresh, optimistic, and rewarding path toward growing up and aging, one that need not be feared, but rather embraced and cherished. In Moore’s view, growing up is the process by which one becomes a more distinctive, complex, fulfilled, loving, and connected person.
Join us for this LIVE and intimate opportunity to dialogue with Thomas Moore in person through an interactive video conference. Thomas will introduce us to some of the core teachings from his new book: Ageless Soul.
“Soul-making is a journey that takes time, effort, skill, knowledge, intuition, and courage. It is helpful to know that all work with soul is process—alchemy, pilgrimage, and adventure—so that we don’t expect instant success or even any kind of finality. All goals and all endings are heuristic, important in their being imagined, but never literally fulfilled.”
— Thomas Moore
In this special 60-minute event you’ll:
- Receive ancient and modern wisdom on how to nourish the ageless soul.
- Explore the soul’s need for myth and ritual.
- Discovery why melancholy is a natural part of growing up, and how to accept it, rather than confuse it with depression.
- Learn what it means to leave a “soul legacy.”
Sharing dramatic episodes from his own life and psychotherapy practice, Thomas will show us how the soul tries to communicate with us through shadow, illness and the poignant moments of rites-of-passage as we age.
You will also hear about the upcoming two-session Book Club with Thomas Moore, which he will personally host on Thursday May 23 and Thursday June 6th. In this book club we’ll be taking a deep dive into the material presented in Thomas’ Ageless Soul: The Lifelong Journey Towards Meaning and Joy.
Ageless Soul will teach you how to embrace the richness of experience and how to take life on, accept invitations to new vitality, and feel fulfilled as continue on the path of growing up.

Praise for Thomas Moore

“I soulfully recommend it without reservation.”
— John Bradshaw, author of Homecoming

“The sincerity, intelligence and style -- so beautifully clean -- of Tom Moore’s Care of the Soul truly moved me. The book’s got strength and class and soul, and I suspect may last longer than psychology itself.”
— James Hillman, author of Re-Visioning Psychology

“This book just may help you give up the futile quest for salvation and get down to the possible task of taking care of your soul. A modest, and therefore marvelous, book about the life of the spirit.”
— Sam Keen, author of Fire in the Belly
